Everytime someone accesses your website, data (the pages, artwork and pictures which make up your site) has to be transferred from the webserver to the web browser of the person viewing your site. If your site is hosted with us your hosting plan allows for a certain amount of data transfer per month. This is usually enough for most needs, however if you exceed this you will be billed for extra data transfer. If you need significantly higher data transfer limits on a regular basis then you can pre-pay for this at reduced rates (we charge higher rates for excess data transfer).
